Head coach Darren Coleman has rung in nine changes to the starting side that took apart the Perth Spirit 48-24 last weekend at Concord Oval.

Sonny Satuala and Clarrie Moore come into the front row, while Ryan McCauley earns his first start of NRC v3.0. Sam Figg and Rowan Perry return to the starting lineup, leaving Mark Baldwin to anchor the scrum from number 8. In the backs, Mitch Short will start at halfback in his first match of the season, and he will look to carry over form from his stellar 2015 NRC campaign into this weekend’s clash. Andrew Deegan returns at flyhalf and will steer a new look back three around the park. Alex Newsome is rested, as Sydney University point scoring machine Christian Kagiassis takes his place on the left wing. Reece Robinson shifts to fullback, and Charlie Clifton starts on the right wing. Whilst Queensland Country are yet to get their first win of the season, their attacking potential makes them a real threat at home this weekend. Fullback Thomas Banks leads the NRC for run metres, averaging nearly 120 of them each start. They can also boast the most team metres (3,110), clean breaks (83), and defenders beaten (161), of any team in this competition. The battle between centres Kyle Godwin and Duncan Paia’aua will be sure to have selectors casting a keen eye over what promises to be an attacking 80 minutes of football. Stay tuned for more updates over the coming days! #AsOneWeFly
